Remote classes can be carried out in a synchronous form (online connection between the student and the instructor) and asynchronous. Classes in the asynchronous formula are placed on the SUM e-learning platform. The instructor has instruments for assessing whether the student has watched and listened to the entire seminar presented asynchronously. It is possible to conduct a test during or at the end of the seminar to assess the assimilation of information provided during the classes.
  2. Depending on the epidemiological situation related to COVID-19, the formula of the classes may be changed, and the classes may be held in a stationary, e-learning or hybrid form in accordance with the orders of the Rector of the Silesian Medical University.
  3. Topics of seminars and exercises, information on the format of classes, start and end times of classes are available on the SUM e-learning platform, at the unit’s secretariat and on the notice board placed in the Department/Clinic.
